FN Curtain Contracts, was born out of FM Curtain Design which closed in February 2004, this was originally established in the Town centre of Blackpool in 1979, by David Burridge, and soon became a successful retail curtain selling outlet. In 1985 the company was approached by a contract carpet company who had obtained a carpet contract that included curtains and were looking for a suitable supplier. David Burridge soon realised the potential for manufacturing curtains and sold the Blackpool shop to initiate plans to set up a manufacturing operation. FM Curtain Design was born and was soon picking up contracts within the hotel market and growing quickly. It was not long before FM Curtain Design were becoming a big name developing key relationships with the Tetley Group and Greenalls (De Vere), the company extended its product range to include blinds, bedspreads, cushions, headboards and tented ceilings. In 2004 David Burridge handed the family run company onto his two sons and FN Curtain Contracts was born today, the company has an outstanding reputation built on quality, price and delivery. It offers a rapid response service and an experienced fitting team some of whom have been with the organisation for over 12 years. David Burridge still has a large involvement in the company and offers his hands on experience in all aspects of the business to the team.
